The Finishes We Use
We finish the furniture and shelves from our collections in Osmo polyx oil, which provides very good protection resistance to heat and water.
As standard, we offer a choice of three oiled finishes.
Remember, everything here is made to order, so if you have a particular finish in mind for the item that you'd like to commission, then please do get in touch, and we will make up some samples for you to choose from.
We often use tinted oils, stains, paints, waxes and lacquers, depending on our clients' specifications.

Finishes Guide
The great thing about an oiled finish is that it can be maintained by further oiling as frequently as desired.
When we deliver your furniture to you, we will provide you with detailed instructions as to how you can care for and maintain its oiled finish. This will include links to relevant cleaning products and oils formulated by Osmo.
Have a look at images of the different oiled finishes that are available for the furniture in our collections.
It's very hard to demonstrate the difference between clear matt, and clear satin in a photo, so we've just listed these as clear oil.
To clarify though, satin will have a slight sheen to it and an ever so slightly richer hue, whereas matt will be flatter with sheen and the hue will be slightly less rich.
If you'd like us to send you any samples of a selection of these finishes, then please get in touch.
