We regularly use British Ash in the furniture we make. And what a wonderful timber it is! A robust, durable hardwood that is a joy to work with. It’s pretty lightweight and fairly knot free.

Every so often we get asked to make something truly stunning, and this has to be one of our favourites. The brief was for a generously sized but finely detailed writing desk in highly contrasting timbers, with some decorative detailed features.
