Named after one of Bedfordshire's largest ancient woodlands which is home to Iron age, Roman and Medieval archaeological sites, the Maulden table is a timeless turned leg design. Its simple aesthetic works well in a wide range of
interiors. The turned shape of the legs catches the light and showcases the grain of the wood. We offer two different extending versions of this table, either with separately stored leaves, or with leaves that live within drawers at either
end of the table. Please contact us if you are interested in extending versions of our Maulden table so that we can provide a quote for you.
We love making this table in Elm with a clear or gazelle oiled finish to bring out the grain.

Ordering and payment
You can order anything from our collections online, but if you would prefer to place your order over the phone, then please give us a call and we would be more than happy to talk it through with you. Whether you have placed your order online or over the phone, you will receive an email confirming the details of your order and our current estimated lead times. Lead times do vary dependant on how busy we are, but the average lead time from order to delivery is around 10 weeks.
On placing your order you will be asked to pay a 50% deposit of the total order value. The week before the furniture that you ordered is finished, we will make contact with you in order to arrange a day that is suitable for you to take delivery. We will also issue you with an invoice requesting the outstanding balance.
Delivery
Either we use a company that specialises in delivering fine furniture, art and antiques, or we deliver to you ourselves. Your furniture will be delivered on a prearranged day and within a 2 hour time slot, to the designated location in your home. That way we know that it has arrived safely with the best possible service, it has been correctly assembled (if assembly is required) and put in the right place. We will give clear and simple written instructions on how to look after your new piece of furniture.
The cost of delivery will be worked out on your postcode when you place your order and can vary from £150 to £350.
Buying a piece of history
It is wonderful that the material in the furniture we make has stood on our lands for hundreds of years before being felled and then used by craftsmen to make pieces of furniture that will last further generations.
Buy in confidence
We know that having a piece of furniture made for you is an investment of sizeable proportion and can be unnerving when done online or over the phone having not seen examples 'in the flesh'. That is why we offer you a money back guarantee if for any reason you are unhappy with the quality of the furniture that you have ordered.
